Acaricides are used to control herbivorous mites. It often only kills mites and not insects. Some acaricide types have high activity on active mites (adult and larval mites, weak mites), but low activity on eggs, or even ineffectiveness; other kinds have great activity on eggs, but poor activity on dynamic mites; still other varieties can kill both species.
